A cult milk bar at the corner of Władysława IV and Żwirki i Wigury. Traffic Design neon, yellow chairs from a 70s remodel, breakfast from 6:30 and tray classics — pierogi, pancakes, egg cutlet.

Sunshine on Abrahama

Bar Mleczny Słoneczny has been at the corner of Władysława IV and Żwirki i Wigury since 1959. Generations of Gdynia locals dropped in for a quick lunch and cheap takeaway. In 1984–1987 it was named the best milk bar.

In 2018 Traffic Design and Syfon Studio gave it a new neon and storefront. In 2024 the interior got a 1970s makeover — yellow chairs, globe lamps, a recycled glass-block wall. Owner Monika Klepczyńska: regulars’ first reactions were very positive.

Wow — elegant — and still normal prices.
